Wedding Photographer Anyone?

TIME IS EVERYTHING!

Time is the most important, and underrated, aspect of every wedding where effective planning allows this “once in a lifetime” day to reach its full potential. If it makes you feel better, no one truly knows how much time they really need on their wedding day. But in a nutshell, it’s important to consider several time slots of your special day: Preparation, Ceremony, Post Ceremony and the Reception. Taking the necessary time to figure out how much time will be needed for each part of your day allows you to realize which time frame works best for you.

MONEY SAVING TIP: At minimal consider having the photographers 2 hours before your wedding time & 2 hours into your reception.

PHOTOGRAPHY BUDGET ANYONE?

It’s important to know how much you can afford and to know how much you truly want to spend on wedding photography. I encourage every client to research their area for a wedding photographer and make a decision off of their particular budget. Not being knowledgeable or having a budget has several drawbacks, incorrect spending being the most common. While researching, create a list of what you want and what companies offer within their packages

MONEY SAVING TIP: Research, research and RESEARCH, then create your budget.

Consultations are a MUST!

Okay, I know I said time is the most important and underrated aspect of any wedding, well consultations are a close No.2. Consultations are more than just the time to review contracts and receive deposits; it’s a time for everyone to become familiar and comfortable with each other. During the consultation, everyone is given the opportunity to learn personalities, what’s important to you and your fiancée and make sure everyone is comfortable.

MONEY SAVING TIP: Bring your fiancée, even if you have to drag him there! You both are getting married, therefore both opinions matter.

HAVE QUESTIONS? ASK

Despite popular belief, there is definitely a wrong time to ask a question. That time is when everything is done when what’s done can't be undone. When speaking with clients I urge them if any questions or concerns arrive to simply reach out to me or my team and ask. It's nothing worse than hearing after the wedding day "I really wanted this pose or picture, but I was afraid to ask." This is your wedding day and we want to make it memorable.

MONEY SAVING TIP: Not sure if your idea makes sense or is possible? Pinterest is your best-friend!
