No matter what you believe or any praised generated within this post, it's still is and forever will be GO PANTHERS & #KeepPOUNDING. AMEN!
Over the Thanksgiving holidays, my mom broke her rule of NOT taking me on family trips. BACKSTORY TIME: When I was like 16, my family went on a slew of trips and I was labeled a "loser", because even though we were in Chicago, Bahamas, Grand Cayman Islands, Honduras, Mexico, etc she didint like my wishes to remain in my hotel room and watch Law & Order. CRAZY that she would feel that way right? RIGHT!!
Nonetheless, my mom broke this rule and I was invited to Atlanta to watch the Falcons take on the Buccaneers! The four of us, my parents, CLee & I, hoped on 85 and I've never witnessed a stadium like Mercedes-Benz located in Atlanta!
If you know anything about Atlanta, the stadium is about a 13 minute walk from the Georgia Aquarium. With so many hotels in Atlanta, we chose the Hilton Garden Inn and it was perfect! Literally, on the front drive of the hotel, you could see the dome! Also I must state, I LOVE the concept of the stadium being next door to Phillips Arena and on the transit lines. Being from Charlotte, I really think its unfortunate that our two major teams are across each other in Uptown and its more convenient for those traveling to the NBA arena.
When you arrive in the stadium, it's almost like you're walking onto the field! There's a huge opening and you can see the entire dome.
The absolutely best thing about the stadium: If you don't like your seats, its OKAY, YOU HAVE OPTIONS. For complete transparency, my parents didn't like our 300 level seats. After being in our seats for about 10 mins real time, I found them back at the entrance of the stadium. There you can stand and watch the game from the 100 level. Near the end of the 3rd quarter it did get crowded but its an amazing addition to the arena. Also its not the only standing room location. There were several areas around the stadium, where you could get your food, sit at a picnic area and watch the game! SPEAKING OF THE FOOD.
Popcorn $2 - Candy $2 - Chicken Wrap $6 -
Liquor $9 - Nachos - $5
Basically what I'm trying to say: IT'S AFFORDABLE, which is truly an amazing addition.
According to my parents Dallas stadium is TOP NOTCH, but this arena is also a MUST SEE! Another amazing addition to the stadium has to be the various models of Mercedes Benz placements. I witnessed several individuals stopping to discuss models with specialist around the arena and I thought that was unique as well. Nonetheless, with the amazing design, great food prices, and excellent customer service, GREAT JOB FALCONS. If only the Bucs would've won, my visit would have been perfect!
