SIGH. [EYE ROLL] - SHAKES HEAD-
I'M NOT SURPRISED.
To me, Jerry Richardson has always been and will always be a coward. As a Panther fan you endure a lot. Cam questionable wardrobe choices, the Steve Smith departure, the handling of Josh Norman & Greg Hardy - no comment and now a billionaire owner who has a past of racial and sexual misconduct. Again I will state.
IM NOT SURPRISED.
I will state again, Jerry Richardson is a coward. For the past 5+ years, my cohost on the Unscripted Podcast, EZ-The GOAT, always stated one thing: Jerry Richardson selling that team one day. He looking for his way out. According to him, Jerry always knew his family wasn't wise enough to run the franchise after him. (Guess he saw the Lakers and decided to opt out) So with this information, Jerry always had plan on selling the team. Every time Jerry Richardson did something questionable, Ezra would revert back to his "Jerry doesn't care, he's selling his team" statement. So when it upset me about Smitty leaving, or the Josh Norman situation...even Cam being asked to not get tattoos. Ezra always reminded me.
Less than 36 Hours ago, Jerry Richardson announced he is selling his team. The cause? Talks of sexual misconducts and acts of racism. Am I surprised a old white billionaire, who wanted to control the appearance of his black players, has been known to punish players for standing up for social injustices, let players go for NOT accepting his way, is accused of using his power, to do what the "Good ol boy" club has been doing for decades? -HELL NAHHHH
To me, Jerry Richardson is taking the coward way out. His team will sell for over 3 BILLION, he will fade into the background and will NEVER answer a question on this topic again. To the millions of silent women across the world, who deal with sexual misconduct every day, this situation is the perfect example of how society continually reward those in power.
Nice way to flip your 200M investment Mr Richardson. Hope we never see you again.
